Proceed into NIS site https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/epassport for the digital program.
Select Standard E-PASSPORT — The Official E-Passport is currently ONLY for Government Officials travelling abroad
Select UNITED STATES as processing nation in Addition to New York as Office of Program.

Click on”START APPLICATION’. Pick from GOOGLE or YAHOO and then make an account or if you have a single, SIGN IN.
Complete the application online and print out a copy of this completed program before you submit an application for payment.
Complete the program kind — PRINT (2) duplicates — click Apply
On successful submission of your program, you may visit a page that will comprise your reference ID that is also emailed to you at the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) — Close to the display to proceed to payment or to enter additional programs (UP to 6 applications )
Select method of payment (Money Order, Visa or American Express) and follow significant actions.

DOCUMENTS FOR SUBMISSION (PER APPLICANT) AT INTERVIEW:

(1) Duplicate of internet application form (signed and dated)
(2) Payment Prerequisites Slip
(3) $30.00 US Post Office money order or Certified bank Cheque payable to the Consulate General of Nigeria (calculating fee- For all sorts of programs )
(4) Expired Nigerian passport (or even released, will be considered missing passport) and photocopy of the data page (which clearly shows photo, full name and date of birth )
Pictures are not required as these will most likely be acquired in the Consulate on this date.
Every applicant must appear in person at the Consulate for thumb and finger printing which are necessary to Generate the E-passport

THE E-PASSPORT DOES NOT ALLOW CHILD ENDORSEMENT, PARENTS SHOULD APPLY FOR INDIVIDUAL PASSPORT FOR EACH CHILD, THIS INCLUDES NEWLY BORN INFANTS.

Notice: In case where the mother looks on the birth certificate, She’ll Have to show an affidavit in the court she has full custody of this child/children

Note: If both parent’s names are on the birth certificate but one has entire custody, then a copy of a legal document ought to be given to the result.

ADULT (FIRST TIME APPLICANT)

Non Nigerian born applicants should offer a copy of the offender passport and letter of permission from a Nigerian parent that appears on his/her birth certificate as right of citizenship.

PASSPORT AMENDMENTS

Applicants needing to amend the facts in their passport should stick to precisely the same application process as when applying to the typical E-Passport for your very first moment.

LOST PASSPORTS
