Ingredients needed to prepare Pineapple Jam Recipe

  1. Preservative
  2. Pectin
  3. Artificial color
  4. Flavor free pineapple jam

Here are the ingredients we need, these are listed in the description box pulp from 1 pineapple sugar lemon juice from 2 lemons.

Since we have juiced the lemon before hand, we have added 1/2 tsp sugar & stirred it in to prevent the juice getting bitter. We will blend the pineapple first to make a coarse paste. Here is the blended pineapple pulp add the pineapple pulp to a pan and add the sugar as well mix well put heat on medium & keep stirring till the sugar melts completely & the mixture come to a boil.

Then if needed the heat will be increased to high to dry up the water sugar has melted completely; we need to cook this mixture till it becomes thick & the extra water dries up.We will keep heat on medium so that the mixture does not spill over. If needed we will reduce heat from medium to low & vice versa once the mixture gets thick we will do a plate test to see that there is no extra water the jam has started thickening we will do the plate test now.

Plate test process (Pineapple Jam Recipe)

 Put a few drops of jam on the plate & tilt it you can see there is no extra water running out leaving the jam. So our jam is ready, we will however cook it for one minute more and then put off the heat, after putting off heat add the lemon juice & mix well transfer the jam to a bowl and let it cool down till it is just warm.
