Why Do We Start a Business

– So why do we start a business? It’s a lot of work, it’s a roller coaster ride with ups and downs, challenges, and it’s not like success happens overnight, either I mean, it could take two years, maybe three years, hell, maybe even five years, before we have any kind of success, so why do we even go through all of this? Why not simply choose the easy way out? Get a regular day job, nine to five, be happy with that.

I mean the money could be just as good, maybe even better But it’s not about the money That’s not why we chose to go down this path. Sure, the money’s important, you know you gotta pay the bills, you gotta put food on the table, et cetera. But it’s not what drives you, it’s something else.

Now it’s different for everyone, but for me, it’s about freedom. Freedom to travel, the freedom to do something I love, the freedom to work from anywhere in the world. There’s one thing that’s really important, and that’s the freedom to spend time with my family. Now it could be simple things like taking the kids to school without the stress, or picking them up a little earlier, and not being the last parent to pick them up But it’s also about showing them, there’s another way.

You can decide your own life, You can have a job that suits your way of living, it doesn’t have to be the other way around. You don’t have to have a job where the job tells you how to live your life. Now you might have a different reason for starting on this journey, and that’s okay, but I’ll leave you with this; whatever you do, make sure you’re living life on your terms.
